Myofascial Release is a specialised treatment that releases restrictions within the fascial network (connective tissue), enabling stuck and hardened areas (muscles and "knots") to become pliable, soft, mobile and pain free giving you wonderful freedom of movement back. This can be a treatment on it's own but usually is combined with Swedish massage trigger point release treatment or reiki. It is a very soothing and effective gentle sustained pressure into the fascia literally melting the tissue to release restriction to relieve physical and emotional strain releasing the body's own restorative powers by improving circulation and nervous system transmission.
