why skin health starts from within.
Your skin is often a reflection of your overall health. To truly address skin concerns, we need to work from the inside out as well as topically.
One key area we measure is your essential fatty acid levels — vital for every cell in the body. These come from your diet and play a major role in skin health, brain function, and reducing cellular inflammation.
We also check your omega ratio. Ideally, this should be below 3:1 (omega-6 to omega-3). Anything above that can create inflammation. In fact, many chronic conditions have been linked to poor omega-3 levels. Unfortunately, modern diets tend to be high in omega-6 and low in omega-3, which can throw everything out of balance.
Another important marker is cell fluidity, which gives us insight into the structure and composition of your cell membranes. If your cells’ membranes are too rigid, toxins can’t get out and nutrients can’t get in.
